Financial Sense
- Don't be blissfully ignorant of your bank account. Frittering your cash and not checking because you're 'scared'. Stop it. Stop stop stop. Write everything down, in your phone, on a notepad, or as the super organised of us do on an Excel Spreadsheet (wink wink you know who you are!)
- Give yourself weekly budgets if its £30 a week. Take that cash out divide that by 7, then seperate that cash into seperate pouches and ONLY spend that. So this means making lunch the night before, waking up ten mins earlier if you need a coffee before your powers turned on, and using the pouch money for absolute necessities.
- Pay your debts before anything else when you get paid so you can physically see what's left instead of just mentally subtracting your outgoings from your salary.
- Live like a pauper for a little while - come on... you've lived like a prince by buying whatever, whenever so now see the other side and see in six months where it gets you.
- Buying for other people and frittering your cash away that way is still the same as buying for yourself. If it's not an absolute necessity - stave away for a while and amount a sum where you can start investing.£1000 is a fantastic start and can reward you with good interest in the right account.
Enjoy your day Beauties
